Codsall

Codsall is a village and civil parish located in South Staffordshire. Neighbouring Bilbrook, the historic village has several watercourses within its parish, including the Moat Brook which flows through and around Codsall to join the River Penk to the east of the village.

The village of Codsall, whos origins date back to the medieval era, experiences flood risks from the several watercourses that surround the parish as well as surface water. FAIR is working in partnership with Staffordshire County Council Highways Authority and the County Councillor, Cllr Val Chapman, to make the area more flood resilient to on-going flood issues. This work includes the installation of a level sensor installed on the Moat Brook, with the real-time data from this displayed on this community page.
