Colton
Colton is a small village located in Lichfield, Staffordshire, characterised by its peaceful rural landscape and a strong sense of community. Highway flooding has resulted in the village becoming frequently cut off during periods of heavy rainfall.
Flooding from surface water, the Moreton Brook and other watercourses has resulted in the village of Colton sometimes becoming isolated after periods of heavy rain. FAIR has engaged with the Colton Parish Council, local residents and landowners to co-create effective solutions to the reduce this risk.
